Stones fort he brown trout (2009)

Hardly any of the local rivers are in its natural state. Roundups, alternative routing and other interventions cause a change in the ecological balance and an acute danger to the original based brown trout. It lacks hard ground, where the spawn of the brown trout can accumulate and not be buried by dispersed sand. The solution to the problem came in form of 75 barrels of gravel, which were dumped into the Este, a flow out of the Elbe, by the STEIN TASK-FORCE with shovels and wheelbarrows. That’s how new spawn ground for the brown trout was created.
