STEIN wins 7 prizes at the POSMA Awards

Hamburg, 6th of October 2016. The Hamburg POS agency STEIN convinced the POSMA jury a total of 7 times in 4 categories this year. With 1 x Silver and 6 x Bronze awards, the POS expert was repeatedly able to demonstrate its competency.

The Hamburg below-the-line agency STEIN has repeated its success of the previous year and has once again brought seven of the coveted trophies back to the North of Germany from the POSMA Awards 2016, making it the agency that received the most prizes at this year’s awards ceremony.

STEIN was able to convince the jury in the following categories:

• 1 x Bronze: Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Food (ASTRA)
• 1 x Bronze: Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Food (Somersby)
• 1 x Bronze: Personnel Promotion (Dyson)

The POS experts focused on all of the levers necessary to ensure that a product ends up in the supermarket trolleys of shoppers. The wide range of campaigns receiving POSMA awards proves that STEIN has mastered all of the disciplines relevant for shoppers. The award-winning campaigns in detail:

Mobilcom Debitel – Fitness Promotion – (1 x Silver, 1 x Bronze)
The “Coach or Couch Challenge“ received 1 x Silver award in the category “Personnel Promotion” and 1 x Bronze award in the category “Most Innovative Campaign”. Under the motto “Coach instead of Couch”, STEIN launched several successive, attention-generating promotions on the topic of fitness for the digital lifestyle provider. Components of the campaign included a fitness challenge in heavily frequented ECE Centres (shopping centres), a digital fitness vending machine in pedestrian areas and a promotion in Fitness First branches.

Hewlett Packard – Augmented Experience – (2 x Bronze)
The HP Augmented Experience received 1 x Bronze award in the category “Most Innovative Campaign” and 1 x Bronze in the category “Consumer Goods”. The intuitive AR-App closes the geographical gap between notebooks and accessories. The shopper can launch the App via a tablet on the notebook shelf in stores. The App then recognises the respective notebook with the tablet’s camera and visualises the matching accessories in a 360° view. In addition, the key product information is listed and an indication of the market availability leads to an increase in sales of the product.

HP Augmented–*Experience*

Astra – Launch of the “Astra Rocket“ – (1 x Bronze)
The POS campaign for the launch of the “Astra Rocket“ was awarded 1 x Bronze in the category “Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Food“.
The motto of the campaign was “Astra Rocket – the party fuel” and incorporated sell-in as well as sell-out. The launch for the new “Astra Rocket” started with a flight into stratosphere. Building on this, the new Astra beer was supported with highly attention-generating party and outer space tools.

Dyson – Experience Tour – (1 x Bronze)
The Dyson Experience Tour won 1 x Bronze award in the category “Personnel Promotion”. The interactive promo stand simulated everyday situations and demonstrated the advantages of the new Dyson “V6” cordless vacuum cleaner in its application. The stand invited shoppers to test the vacuum cleaner beyond the actual POS, giving the Dyson devices the chance to convince.

Somersby – POS Activation – (1 x Bronze)
One 1 x Bronze was awarded in the category “Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Food” for the summer activation. The fruity-fresh promo of the cider by Carlsberg supported sell-in and sell-out with various activities across all channels. The central element of the campaign was the surfer lifestyle, which was not only clearly visible at the POS, but also part of the main prize in the central give-away: a trip in an original Somersby T2 Bully Volkswagen camper van.
