POSMA award 2014 in bronze for Panasonic Partner Program

Hamburg, 05. November 2014 – In this years POSMA Awards ceremony STEIN received one of the coveted trophies of the POS Marketing Association in bronze for its Panasonic Partner Program last night in Cologne.

The jury highlighted in its explanation that due to the exclusive quality program Panasonic successfully managed to stand its ground in a difficult market environment with declining sales and increasing competition. By focusing on a high-quality marketing of their products not only a significant increase in sales was achieved, but also the revenue per unit was increased significantly. At the same time, the concept of the exclusive partner program provided for a high retailer motivation and strengthened the partnership between Panasonic and the specialist stores.

Lars Roisch, Managing Director STEIN: „We are delighted to have been awarded with the POSMA Award in Bronze because the Panasonic Partner Program is a good example of how unexploited potential in stores can be successfully activated with sales force activities individually tailored to the customer needs. At the same time the price is an incentive for us to continue to help our customers to success with tailor-made measures at the POS!“

Under the motto “high-end devices need a high-class advice” several thousand TV specialist suppliers were in the focus of the award-winning measure. They were subject to a targeted quality inspection by the STEIN sales force on site. Retailers with particularly high quality product presentations and high quality advice could qualify as a premium supplier for the Panasonic Partner Program. Thus, they have been authorized for the sale of exclusive equipment and gained access to high-quality advertising and POS material, as well as training for their staff in order to differentiate themselves from the competition

STEIN provides services for Panasonic since 2005 and supports the Japanese electronics giant also in the areas of sales promotion, exhibition organization and merchandising.
